Nine new entrances have been installed from Wykebeck Woods to Halton Moor, giving important green spaces across the Wyke Beck Valley an identity, and making them more accessible and attractive to local people.

The decorative entrance features showcase the artistic skills of local children, who worked with project partner Groundwork Leeds to make metal casts of their drawings of Valley inhabitants.

Wyke Beck Valley Pride is a project to get people out and about enjoying the Wyke Beck Valley.

The Wyke Beck Valley Pride project runs all the way from Roundhay Park to Rothwell Country Park through Gipton, Seacroft, Killingbeck, Primrose Valley and Halton Moor.

Local communities will benefit from better access, more info and opportunities for involvement in life of the valley
